The ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic has forced many productions in the film industry to stop and already turned the theatrical release of many films into a digital release. And now it seems like Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No. 1 joins this list as well. According to reports, David Dhawan’s remake of his own iconic film is all set to release digitally this Diwali.
According to sources, Amazon Prime VIdeo bags the deal of the digital rights of the film. Earlier it was reported that Coolie No. 1 will get a theatrical release on the new year. However, the makers now have changed their minds because there is no guarantee when the theatres will open again.
It was also reported that after Laxmmi Bomb and Bhuj, Coolie No. 1 got the third-highest amount for the purchase of its digital rights.
Now we can anticipate the official announcement from the makers and the stars, Varun and Sara through their social media handle very soon.
