Famous Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was recently accused of sexual assault by Payal Ghosh. The actress filed an FIR against the director at the Versova Police Station in Mumbai last week. Payal claimed that Anurag forced himself on her and assaulted her sexually. Now according to reports, Mumbai Police will summon Anurag Kashyap to record his statement in this case.
The actress also threatened the police that she will go on a hunger strike if the police don’t take any action against him. Payal also revealed by tweeting that she will be meeting the Governor of Maharashtra to discuss the situation and the next steps in this case
The police filed an FIR against Anurag Kashyap under IPC Sections 376 (I) (rape), 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty,), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 342 (wrongful confinement).
Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap also released a statement that all these allegations are completely false. He said these accusations are false, malicious, and dishonest.
