The Government has finally allowed the reopening of theatres with 50% occupancy and the fans are really excited to see the films on the big screen again. All the theatres had to shut down because of the global health crisis in March 2020. But now they all will reopen from October 16, 2020.
And now the reports are that Ananya Pandey and Ishaan Khattar starrer “Khaali Peeli” will be the first film to hit the theatres on October 16. This film was already released on October 2 and is receiving great reviews from the fans. Along with this, Vivek Oberoi starrer biopic of Narendra Modi will also get a theatrical release again.
Earlier Khaali Peeli was also screened at drive-in theatres of Gurugram and Bengaluru. The show in Gurugram was priced at Rs. 999/car and it was sold out. Now it will be interesting to see how the film will manage to perform on the big screens.
