The digital platform of India is on a whole different level ever since the country got hit by the lockdown. A few years back, no one thought that we will see major Bollywood stars in a web series. But then the arrival of shows like Sacred Games and Mirzapur changed the entire landscape. Many actors already took the digital route and now according to the latest reports, Shahid Kapoor is the latest edition to join this camp.
A source revealed that Shahid Kapoor has signed a big-budget digital series which will be directed by the duo Raj and Krishna DK. Their recent projects Stree and The Family Man got a great response from the viewers and after that several makers approached this duo for their projects. And now they finally signed an original project with a leading OTT platform for which he approached Shahid Kapoor. He loved the script and already signed on the dotted line for the same.
Shahid might start filming for this web series before beginning the shoot of Yoddha. The actor is currently busy in the filming of Jersey which will release next year.
