Last month, Deepika Padukone along with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey began filming for Shakun Batra’s next untitled film. However, Deepika had to stop its filming midway as she got summoned by the NCB regarding the major drug nexus in Bollywood. It’s been two weeks since she came back to Mumbai and now according to the latest reports she is heading back to Goa to resume her work again.
For starters, Shakun gave him a light-hearted scene with Siddhant and Ananya to start with so that she can ease into her character again. The cast and crew of the film didn’t waste any time during Deepika’s absence. In the meantime, they shot the scenes of Siddhant and Ananya.
Shakun Batra is still really tight-lipped on this film. The only detail that came out is the plot of this movie revolves around two young couples. He hasn’t revealed a release window yet but the fans can expect this film to release in the second half of 2021.
