The drug case that began with the death case of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has grown very intense in the past few months. NCB already arrested and questioned various celebrities regarding this matter. Almost three months back, NCB arrested SSR’s former love interest Rhea Chakraborty and his brother Showik Chakraborty.
Now, almost three months after his arrest, Showik was granted bail by the special NDPS Court. ANI also confirmed this news by posting a tweet. It reads, “Special NDPS Court grants bail to Showik Chakraborty (Rhea Chakraborty’s brother) in a drugs case registered by Narcotics Control Bureau.”
According to the reports, only a few days back, Showik filed a new bail plea. He mentioned that he was not found in the possession of any drugs and was falsely implicated. It has been two months since Rhea got his bail. And now his brother will also get out of jail.
