Superstar Rajnikanth has been shooting for a film titled “Annaathee” for the past couple of days. However, they had to halt the filming as several members of the cast and crew tested positive for COVID-19. The actor was tested on December 22 and fortunately, his report came negative. He quarantined himself since that day.
However, his blood pressure showed severe fluctuations. Therefore he was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad. Apollo Hospital confirmed this news by doing a press release earlier this afternoon. He has no other symptoms of COVID-19 other than fluctuating blood pressure and exhaustion.
He was busy in the production of Annaathee which is said to be a rural drama. It already created a lot of hype and the fans of Rajnikanth are eagerly waiting for the release of this film. The 40% shoot of this film is left. Rajnikanth will resume the filming once he is in good shape and when the other members test negative as well.
