Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham Singh is one of the most anticipated upcoming biographical films of Bollywood. It is based on the life of a freedom fighter of the same name who assassinated Michael O’Dwyer in London to take retribution for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
The film was originally scheduled to release in January this year. However, it got delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. And the fans are eagerly waiting to relive all those epic moments on the big screens. Recently it was also revealed that the fans will also see Amol Parashar in this film. He will portray the role of Bhagat Singh.
The shoot of this film was completed in February last year and now the makers are busy with its post-production. According to the report by Mid-Day, Sardar Udham Singh’s director Shoojit Sircar revealed that he would most likely announce the new release date of this film by the end of February this year. He also assured the fans that the film would premiere in the theatres first and then only it will arrive on the OTT platforms.
