A lot of celebrities and gems of India have already left this world ever since the second wave of the deadly virus hit the country. Recently, another bad news came as veteran Punjabi lyricist Meet Majri passed away. He wasn’t affected by the virus but he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Meet Majiri breathed his last on April 30, 2021, at 4:30 AM. His family already performed his final rites today at the crematorium in Ludhiana. His daughters, Mallika and Jyoti announced the news of his death on social media. They wrote, “With profound grief and sorrow I announce the sad demise of my beloved father S. Gurmeet Singh (Meet Majri) today morning 30 April due to a heart attack. Please pray for the departed soul.”
Right after it, the celebrities and his friends began to offer their condolences to his family. Meet Majri’s family also requested everyone to pray for everyone who lost their lives due to the severe health pandemic. We also offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
