Famous Urdu Poet, Rahat Indori, dies due to heart attack just several hours after posting that he is COVID-19 positive. He was admitted to Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences. The director of SAIMS informed the media his condition was stabilizing after the first cardiac episodes. However, at the same time, he got two more cardia arrests, which led to his death.
Rahat Indori was a 70-year-old man who was famous for his poems. He also participated in various poetry meets (Mushayras) all over the world. Recently one of his poems, titles “Bulati Hai Magar Jane Ka Nahi…” became a meme trend in the lockdown. He also wrote songs for various movies, including “Munna Bhai MBBS,” “Murder,” and more.
