Diljit Dosanjh is on his dream run right now. First, his Bollywood Good Newz turned out to be a blockbuster. Then his new single, G.O.A.T. made its way to the list of Billboard Top Tracks In The World. And now he confirmed that he will be seen in a Netflix original film which will be based on the 1984 riots after the murder of Indira Gandhi.
In a Q&A session on his Instagram, Diljit Dosanjh revealed that they already started the production of this film before lockdown. But then they had to stop it because of the Coronavirus. According to him, the cast and crew will begin the shoot as soon as things get back to normal.
Ali Abbas Zafar will be producing the film, which will be directed by one of his assistants.
Netflix is looking forward to having a big spike in the ratings of its Indian content after the arrival of this untitled film.
