Famous Punjabi actor turned activist Deep Sidhu has been arrested again after receiving bail from the Thirty Hazare Court of Delhi. Archaeological Department lodged a second complaint against him the same day at the Kotwali Police Station and on the basis of this FIR Delhi Police arrested him again.
The verdict is yet to be passed and the hearing will continue today as well. This time, the police are seeking 4 days remand of Deep Sidhu. If Thirty Hazare Court hasn’t announced any verdict, then this hearing will continue to proceed for time being.
On the occasion of Republic Day, during the farmers’ tractor parade, farmers and police engaged in a dispute. Some protestors even managed to reach the Red Fort and hosted a saffron flag there. As a result, the police arrested Deep Sidhu as he turned to be the activist behind them.
