Earlier this year, famous Punjabi celebrity Deep Sidhu caught everyone’s attention when his name got involved in the Red Fort case. He even got arrested for the same, and now he is in the headlines again for a wrong cause. Recently an FIR has been filed against Deep Sidhu for using a contemptuous statement that hurts the religious sentiments of the Ravidas & Valmiki community.
A case was registered against Deep Sidhu after Jassi Talhan, the head of Guru Ravidas Tiger Force filed a complaint against him. The members of this community even asked the police to arrest Deep Sidhu for his derogatory statement.
The incident took place when Deep Sidhu came live to Facebook on October 1. In the live video, he used some harsh words for the Valmiki and Ravidas community and the video went viral in no time. Currently, a case has been registered against Deep Sidhu under Section 3 (1) SC/ST act, and the police have started their investigation.
