On Tuesday, the world’s largest micro-blogging site Twitter decided to permanently suspend Kangana Ranaut from their platform. The actress has posted a lot of controversial tweets lately and Twitter already provided her a fair share of warnings. However, this time the platform terminated the account of Kangana for repeated violation of their policies.
The suspension came after Kangana told Modi Ji to take his Virat roop from the early 2000s to tame the newly elected Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee. This tweet provoked many people and they demanded to take any action against her. As a result, her account got suspended under the most severe enforcement action. Due to this, she will never be able to return to Twitter by making a new account.
After this action, a spokesperson from Twitter released a statement that reads, “We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service.”
Earlier, Twitter took the same action against the former President of the US, Donal Trump, and this time Kangana Ranaut has to face a permanent ban from the microblogging site.
