Deepti Naval, a veteran actress, born on February 3, 1952. She has contributed a lot to the film industry in all these years. The former actress in her recent interview revealed that she desired to make a biopic film on the life of Amrita Shergill, a world-famous Punjabi painter, around thirty years back.
Jimmy Shergill, a relative of Amrita Shergill recently reveal to a leading daily that Deepti contacted the Shergill family for conducting research on Amrita’s work. However, she was unable to make this film.
In a recent interview of Deepti Naval, on asking about whether if she is still interested in this project or not, she replied, “Oh that was a long time back, I have not given a thought to it in recent years.”
Deepti recently directed a film named “Do Paise Ki Dhoop, Chaar Aane Ki Baarish,” with Manish Koirala but the film was never released. She is hopeful that the film will soon premiere on the OTT platform.
