The fans also heard that Diljit Dosanjh and Ali Abbas Zafar will join forces for a film based on the riots of 1984. And now Pinkvilla revealed that the maker and the actor already began the production of this film in November without any official announcement.
Ali Abbas Zafar is planning for a solo superhero film with a female lead. Katrina Kaif already begged this role but the scripting for this film is in development. Meanwhile, Ali decided not to waste his time and started working on the film with Diljit Dosanjh. This will be the first time two of them will collaborate.
According to the reports, Ali Abbas Zafar is directing this film for a streaming platform which is rumored to be Netflix. This film will be a human story that will be set against the 1984 Sikh Riots backdrop that took place after the assassination of the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
