Everyone knows about the craze of the Baahubali film series when it came out. Its second part Baahubali: The Conclusion broke several box-office records right after its release. After its success, Netflix decided to make a prequel series that will highlight the life of Sivagami Devi and show how she became the empress of the Mahishmati Kingdom.
Mrunal Thakur was playing the lead role in the series. However, the makers shelved the project as they didn’t like the outcome of it. But now the makers decided to renew this project again and that too with a new cast. Since Mrunal doesn’t have any dates available for shooting the entire show again. Therefore, the makers of the series decided to cast the Pollywood beauty, Wamiqa Gabbi, in the leading role of Sivagami Devi.
A report by Bollywood Hungama also confirmed the same. It is likely that the series will go on the floor by the end of this year. Wamiqa Gabbi already did cameos in several Bollywood films but it will be her first major break.
