Today is the 72nd Republic Day of India. On this occasion, farmers decide to perform a tractor march, Many celebrities including the youth joined this parade with their tractors. However, everything didn’t go as smoothly as the farmers or the police planned.
According to the agreement for this tractor rally, the farmers allowed to camp at Singhu, Tikri, Ghazipur borders of Delhi. And they were allowed to perform their tractor march but only after the completion of the official Republic Day parade at Rajpath. However, amid the chaos, some of the protestors tried to move towards Central Delhi.
Therefore the cops have to use tear gas and charged lathi at some places in Delhi after the protestors break barricades. Senior farmer, Balbir Singh Rajewal appealed to all the farmers to follow the pre-decided route for the rally. He said, “We condemn violence against farmers, appeal to all to maintain peace.” to PTI.

This tractor rally will complete the two months protest of the farmers against the agriculture law passed by the government. Now they will march on foot on February 1, 2021, to the parliament during the presentation of the Union budget.
