The Turbanator, Harbhajan Singh has announced his retirement from all forms of Cricket. The 41-year-old former off-spinner of India had made a formal announcement by posting a tweet on December 24. Harbhajan Singh has been waiting for the right moment and he wanted to announce it earlier but delayed the retirement due to commitments with Kolkata Knight Riders.
Harbhajan Singh posted a tweet that reads, “All good things come to an end, and today as I bid adieu to the game that has given me everything in life, I would like to thank everyone who made this 23-year-long journey beautiful and memorable. My heartfelt thank you Grateful.”

Right after Harbhajan Singh posted this tweet, he began to receive congratulatory messages for his great career from his fans and from fellow cricketers as well. The Turbanator has taken 269 wickets in 236 ODIs, 417 wickets in 103 Tests, and 25 scalps in 28 T20Is throughout his career. Harbhajan Singh’s last international match came back in 2016 where he played against UAE. However, he has been quite active in the IPL and performed really well for teams like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Kolkata Knight Riders. But, now he has decided to hang his boots for good.
