One of the most-anticipated Punjabi films of this year “Kokka” is finally here. Everyone has been desperately waiting to see the fresh pair of Gurnam Bhullar & Neeru Bajwa. The duo had great chemistry throughout the movie except for some sequences. As usual, both Neeru and Gurnam delivered an amazing performance. However, the supporting cast of this movie failed to impress the fans.
Neeru played the character of a 40-year-old woman in the film who fell in love with a guy who is in his mid-20s (Gurnam). The concept of Kokka is quite fresh and it tries to break stereotypes as well. The story of the movie is really interesting and will keep the viewers hooked. The film will certainly not feature a fairytale love story as some characters will keep troubling the duo.
The music of the film is decent but the background score has nothing special. Kokka did have some flaws that stopped this movie from becoming a masterpiece. But, the movie is still a great option to watch this weekend along with your friends and family. The film will not bore you as it is a decent one-time watch.
