Earlier this year, Malkit Singh announced that he would soon appear in an upcoming Punjabi film titled “Lekh” that will be shot completely in the UK. Now, the Golden Star finally kicks off the production of this forthcoming movie. Makit Singh himself confirmed this news by sharing a picture on his social media handle.
Malkit Singh took to his Instagram to share a picture with the cast and crew from the sets of this movie. The caption of this post reads, “My new film Lekh shooting start today in Uk 🇬🇧Waheguru da Lakh Lakh sukhar hai 🙏🙏🙏” With this film, the Golden Star, Malkit will make his comeback to the bigger screens.

Coming to the credits of Lekh, Ricky Chauhan is serving as its director and has penned down its story as well whereas Daljit Singh is producing this film. The makers haven’t announced the release date of Lekh, but the fans can expect it to premiere sometime in 2022.
