Jayy Randhawa’s debut Punjabi film “Shooter” that faced a ban due to its controversial topic finally got a new release date. The film was supposed to release way back in 2020, but now, it will come out in the very first month of the next tear. Jayy Randhawa himself confirmed this news by sharing a brand new poster of this movie.
Jayy Randhawa took to his Instagram handle to share the new poster of Shooter. The caption reveals that the film will premiere on January 14, 2022. The entire caption reads, “Finally #Shooter Releasing 14 January in Theatres, Hale Bahut Kuch Dekhna Baaki Aa, Shukar a Rabb Da Te Judiciary Da , Na Pehla Dabbe C Na Agge Dabbange . Tusi Saath Banayi Rakheo Baba Bhali Kare 🙏❤️”

Shooter was banned in 2020 by the former CM Amarinder Singh. The reason was given that it promotes heinous crimes, violence, and criminal intimidation. But, now everything seems to be fine and the film will finally hit the theaters. The film follows the real-life story of a Punjabi gangster named Sukha Kahlon. Shooter is all set to release on January 14 under the banner of Geet MP3 and Omjee Star Studios.
