Everyone’s been waiting for the release of Amberdeep Singh and Nimrat Khaira’s Teeja Punjab ever since the film was announced. All the wait was worth it as Teeja Punjab is certainly one of the best Punjabi movies this year.
After watching this film, one can have a great idea and experience of the protest that was going around for the last one and a half years. Teeja Punjab didn’t highlight the protests, but it simply focused on day-to-day struggles faced by the farmers of our country. Amberdeep Singh acted beautifully in this film and Nimrat Khaira also managed to leave an impact with her acting.
One will certainly ride on the rollercoaster of emotions after watching this movie. Amberdeep portrayed the role of a farmer who blindly trusts the head of his village. Due to this, he lost his land whereas Nimrat Khaira played a bold woman who isn’t afraid to raise her voice. Teeja Punjab is a really beautiful film that will make its viewers cry and smile at the same time.
