Famous Punjabi Producer Amneet Singh Sher, aka Kaku, and Harpreet Singh has been recently arrested. He is accused of being involved in Jagdish Bhola drug racket. Fatehgarh Sahib Police busted this racket back in 2013. Kaku along with others was arrested under the IPC and NDPS Act.
Punjab and Haryana High Court granted him bail in March 2013. However, he went absconding after that. After that, the court declared him the proclaimed offender. Now the police arrested them from Delhi. They also got fake Aadhaar cards and documents from them which is hinting that they were planning to leave the country.
The police have already seized weapons, cars, and fake documents of Kaku. They have a doubt that Kaku has international smuggling links as well. A case has been filed against them under the IPC sections of the Arms Act.
Amneet Singh produced the hit franchise Nikka Zaildar which already received two sequels. He also produced films like Burrahhh, Kabaddi Ik Mohabbat, Laddu Barfi.
