Recently Parineeti Chopra announced that her next film titled “The Girl on the Train” will premiere on Netflix. And now there are chances that her other upcoming film which is the biopic of famous badminton player Saina Nehwal might also premiere on the digital platform.
According to the reports, the makers are planning for a digital release due to the reason that theatres have only 50% occupancy currently. The film was originally scheduled to release last year but got delayed because of the global health pandemic. The makers of this film are yet to finalize its release.
However, it seems like they have inclined towards a digital release more than the theatrical release. Shubhrajyoti Barat, Parineeti’s father in the film also talked about the same. He also thinks that this biopic will release on the OTT platforms. Now only time will tell whether the fans will be able to watch this biopic starrer Parineeti Chopra on the big screens or not.
